Plants and fresh flowers are available at our Staverton and Kitley shops but occasionally make an appearance in Sidmouth. We were well ahead of Hugh F-W in encouraging our customers to grow their own herbs and vegetables; from seeds to healthy potted plants, you'll find them here. We don't profess to be a garden centre but we do our best to turn your fingers green.

At Staverton a bucket filled with posies of old fashioned garden flowers are a regular sight through the summer, brought in by enthusiastic local growers they are a reminder of how shopping used to be; and we've had a fine stock of plants from growers in Staverton (available all year round) for as many years as we can care to remember.

Christmas time brings a great selection of trees of several varieties from a sustainable source - and some lovely hand made Christmas wreathes made from seasonal foliage - this year, courtesy of Penny (who provides beautiful posies of flowers for sale at our Staverton shop in the summer months). These delightful wreaths are made from natural hedgerow materials and are both colourful and imaginative. Watch out for opportunists as you wander around the fruit and vegetables as bunches of mistletoe are hung there too.
