Road closures at Riverford Bridge are starting next week (16th Jan) which will make getting out to the Staverton shop a trial. Hopefully it won’t be too inconvenient and, as mentioned last month, we’ll be softening the blow with quadruple points on your cards.
The Yealmpton rebuild is going ahead – sometime. I’ve come to love it but however hard I’ve tried, a Dutch barn polytunnel isn’t really fit for purpose. So it’s been replaced by a triple bay industrial building that we’re going to make as attractive as we can. Work starts at the end of January and the café will be shut for about five weeks. Much of the rest will be moved to the front of the shop so fruit and veg, butchery, most of the dairy and chilled and some ambient/dried will continue uninterrupted. As at Staverton, quadruple points will hopefully compensate for the inevitable disruption.
